Nathan Rooney's late penalty sealed Telford's first win of the season as they comprehensively beat Braintree 3-0 at New Bucks Head.
Bucks midfielder Rooney forced a fine save from Braintree goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt in the opening stages before James Spray opened the scoring for the home side in the 15th minute.
Steve Leslie found space on the right to curl in a cross which striker Spray converted into the bottom right-hand corner from close range.
The hosts pushed on and doubled their advantage three minutes later.
Winger Leslie was again the provider as his header picked out Kieron St Aimie who stroked home from six yards.
Kenny Davis' wayward long-range drive after 40 minutes was the best Braintree could muster in a poor first-half performance.
Rooney completed the scoring from the spot seven minutes from time, slotting into the bottom right-hand corner following Ryan Peters' handball.
