A HOUSING association plans to build 100 new homes in two years.

Greenfields Community Housing has been granted planning permission from Braintree District Council to build 23 affordable homes in Witham, Stisted and Feering.

Fifteen new homes will be built in Witham, including five in Siward Road, five in Philip Road, two in Turston Road and three in Christina Road.

While six homes will be built in Sarcel Close, Stisted, and another two in Hanover Square, Feering.

Most of the homes will be built on current garage sites that are no longer deemed a priority to keep.
