Beyonce and Kings of Leon to headline V Festival
Pop superstar Beyonce and US rockers Kings of Leon will be coming to Hylands Park, Chelmsford this summer, having been announced as the main stage headline acts for this year's V Festival of August 17-18.
It will be Beyonce's only European festival appearance of 2013 and, with tickets for her own UK tour having sold out within hours of being announced, this could be your best chance of seeing the queen of pop in concert this year.
For Kings Of Leon it will be a return to Chelmsford for the band that last headlined the V Festival in 2010 and have made regular appearances at Hylands Park in the last decade.
Joining them will be Brits award winner Emeli Sande, Stereophonics, The Script, Beady Eye, Essex's own Jessie J and Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, The Vaccines, Two Door Cinema Club, Bassment Jaxx, Calvin Harris, The Courteeners, Jason Mraz, FUN, Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, James, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters And Men, Maverick Sabre, Travis, Jessie Ware, Maximo Park, Rudimental, The X Factor's James Arthur, Deacon Blue, Little Mix, Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, Gabrielle Aplin and Laura Mvula.
Tickets for the festival go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 1) but Essex residents can get tickets a day earlier this Thursday, February 28 - see details here.
