CHELMSFORD: Man killed in motorbike smash

CHELMSFORD: A man has been killed after crashing his motorcycle in Chelmsford on Tuesday.

The 48-year-old rider died after his bike left the road at Wood Street shortly before 11pm.

Police said no other vehicles were involved.

    known damon 30 yrs.... and only spoke with him recently about that bloody bike..those poor children,john and doug.

    i live down the road and the amb was there alot quicker than samantha says.

    I was very close to Damon many years ago. I am shocked that he has gone and can only say what a lovely, funny man he was and what a great friend he was to me. I will miss him very much.

    i knew the man that was involved in this tradgic accident. i really hope the statement left by samantha taylor was not true other wise the abulance service should be made to pay 20 mins and no one had attened this is disscusting. My thoughts are with his kids rest in peace

    i was in the traffic for that i got past and then called at my office and then 20 mins later came back and he was still laying there - where was the ambulance??
