Dunkin' Donuts will be opening its Chelmsford store in Moulsham Street.

The American fast food chain, which last week announced a commercial tie-up with Liverpool FC, confirmed it was returning to the UK after a 20-year absence.

The Chelmsford store, expected to open in mid-February will be one of only two of the firm's outlets to open outside of London. The other will open in Cambridge.

A Dunkin' Donuts franchise has already opened in Harrow, north London.

so another fast food franchise to add to the stale stinking fat odours, our other imported establishments emit. Well done to the Council for granting permission. but why not locate it in a more central location, say at the top of the market....underneath our Councils swankey offices...let them experience first hand the stench of old cooking fat and the litter....not to mention the delivery lorries blocking up the road.
