They have only a basic NHS and they have to pay for most things

The University Teaching Hospital (UTC) has 1,655 beds and 250 baby cots, compared to 750 beds at Broomfield

The UTC also has to train up all the other hospital staff in Zambia

And if you think hospital food is bad here, a typical meal in a Zambian hospital consists of a bit of flour and cabbage
