X Factor judge and Take That main man Gary Barlow has added a date in Essex to his solo tour with tickets going on sale this Friday.
The singer has confirmed this week that he's coming to Southend's Cliffs Pavilion on Monday, January 14 as part of his tour that started this week and sees him visit venues around the UK until the end of January.
Most of the dates are in large venues and arenas so the date in Southend is the perfect chance to see him in a more intimate venue.
The tour started in Bournemouth last week and sold out in just 20 minutes so demand for the Essex date is bound to be high when they go on sale this Friday, November 23 at 9.30am. Bookings are through www.gigsandtours.com and on 0844 811 0051 or through www.ticketmaster.co.uk and on 0844 826 2826.
"I'm really excited about these dates," said Gary. "Playing live is my favourite thing and I haven't played a solo show for over a year now.
"Last year playing two London shows was brilliant, we all had such a good time, so I thought: right let's go and see the rest of the country."
After 20 years in the business, Gary has sold more than 50 million records with eight number one albums, 14 number one singles both as a solo artist and with Take That.
Recently awarded an OBE for his contribution to British music, Gary organised the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert earlier this year and his public profile has been further enhanced by his uncompromising opinions as a judge on the X Factor.
