MORE tickets for the V Festival at Chelmsford go on sale this Friday and there have been some exciting additions to the bill as well.

Gossip, Wretch 32, The Feeling, Beverly Knight, Newton Faulkner, Sub Focus, Gambino, Stooshe, Cover Drive, Angel and Essex indie rockers The Rifles all join the party in Hylands Park over the weekend of August 18-19.

The extra batch of general admission tickets for the festival go on sale from 9am on Friday, April 27 and music fans are being encouraged to go www.vfestival.com for all ticket options.

Rapper and grime star Wretch 32 said: "I'm buzzing to be back at V Festival again this year. Last year was big and I'll be looking to top it this year by performing my new tracks to the V crowd. I will also be looking to get a little meet with Nicki Minaj... If I'm lucky!"

Berverley Knight added: "It has been a while so I'm chuffed to be back on stage at V this year. I have spent the last few years enjoying all the action as a punter. This year it's time to do with I do best – and that's rocking a crowd!"

The new additions join a Chelmsford line-up headlined by the Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on Saturday and The Killers and Snow Patrol on Sunday.
